Mobile UX London 2018 ticket giveaway

MUXL 2018

Calling all UXers in the London area!

Mobile UX London is holding their annual conference on November 21st, and they have very kindly offered us a free ticket to give away to our community!

This year the conference focus is User-Centred Design and how new technologies are going to change the way we design for these new modes of interaction. Thinking along the lines of Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality, connected cars and homes, voice first, or mobile gamification.

All you need to do is comment on this post and let us know how you would benefit from attending Mobile UX London.

RELATED:  Who is this Site for?

To be eligible for this opportunity you must be a current UX practitioner (NOT from an agency or software provider) and live in the area (or be able to get to the conference location at your own expense).

Looking forward to hearing from everyone!

Thanks to everyone who entered! The competition is now closed. Winners will be chosen by the team at UX Mastery with approval from MUXL, and notified soon.

  • Hope to reach some advance information from Mobile UX field. Because our website has many possibilities for increasing and mobile-development. In this time I have a couple mobile-focused projects and I need to leave my comfort zone (change mindset) for designing.

  • I am working as a UX Consultant in London, and I would love to attend MUXL Conference in London. Living in the midst of 4th industrial revolution, technologies such as IOT, AI, AR will greatly transform the way we live and interact as a society, and UX will play a crucial role in facilitating this transformation. The opportunity to learn from the experts in their field would help me gain further understanding in the evolution of the human-machine relationship.

  • Hi, I’m currently seeking a new role and my past couple of years haven’t featured much mobile and while I’m trying to catch up I’ve lost at least one viable role because of this. I think the event would give me some much needed ammunition for my ux arsenal! Cheers!

  • I am thrilled to take part in this giveaway. I would benefit from attending MUXL conference as I would discuss different UCD approaches and be inspired by BIG designers (I am sure they are also, great human beings!) :)

  • I think I would benefit from attending this conference as I am the only designer in a small startup and it would be really great for me to attend the conference so I can network with other designers and learn from others in my field.

Additionally we work within the artificial intelligence space and it would be great to see what other people are doing and how this impact or directs how they design.

  • I am working as a UI / UX Designer in a Start-up in Amsterdam, called Etergo.
Amsterdam – London is really easy to do. Would be great to attend this conference from a personal development point of view.
I will most probably go with one of my delightful colleague ;-)

  • I work as a UX Researcher for an online travel company and we are looking to take our design to another level. We will have a design sprint later this year about VR, AR and AI in the travel industry and would be really useful to attend MUXL conference before that. I am sure I will gather some very useful insights and innovative ideas from this event.

    Thanks,
    Tina

  • Hi Amber!
I am a developer in India and kick-starting my career into UX. This conference will give me a great lead boosting up my design ideas and networking with designers focusing on user centered design. Hoping to get in! Thank you!

  • Hello Amber and the UXM team!

I’m a UX/Product designer in the UK. Our company runs an educational learning app that is trying to close the learning gap between rich and poor students.
You mention a few topics the conference covers. Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence, voice first and mobile gamification are all areas we are looking into expanding, already having setup AI and voice first systems in the company.
From a personal point of view, I’d love to attend my first conference in London, and would really use the opportunity to learn.

    All the best,

    Sam

  • As a product designer looking at emerging technologies like VR, AI, AR and voice first this conference will give me the insight into these growing industries and chance to pick some useful knowledge. It’s also a good opportunity to network with like-minded people and see what is going on. The lineup of speakers look really strong and it would be amazing to attend this conference

  • As a UX designer working at the intersection of art, science, and technology for Arm, a company whose technology is at the heart of Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality, connected cars and homes. Attending the conference will help Arm to understand and explore the customer experience of these technologies to enable a more holistic design approach.

  • I am a UX Researcher with the government. We are just beginning to work through displaying complex content on mobile devices, which is a huge difference from my previous experiences in the private sector. A huge part of my role is simply educating a complex, old-school bureaucracy that the upfront work of user engagements is worth the overall reduction of work once a product is live and used by a global user base. The conference will help me begin articulating the needs for smaller screens.

  • I’m always on the lookout for the newest developments and emerging technologies: I think it’s the only way a UX designer can stay on point and advise the different stakeholders on these topics. So I would love to come to London in November
