On Monday July 20, we’re running another Introduction to UX workshop at Nest Coworking in Melbourne.
Speak to anyone in the services industry and they’ll tell you that UX skills are in hot demand. Whether you’re directly responsible for creating a product or only peripherally involved, you can’t afford to not understand the fundamentals of how user-centred design results in creating products that people love using, rather than ones they hate.
In this intensive full-day UX workshop, you’ll complete nine practical, fun activities. Throughout the day, you’ll:
- learn what User Experience (UX) is, and its importance in the design of products and services
- understand what a UX process looks like, and the principles behind user-centred design.
- gain exposure to a range of UX techniques, such as creating personas, storyboards, wireframes and prototypes, as well as conducting contextual enquiry and user testing sessions.
- practice applying some of these techniques to the design of a product or service.
Tried and tested
We’re very proud of the feedback we’ve had on this workshop. Here are some choice quotes from former students:
“…along with all your reading materials and the great resource of your site has been invaluable in learning the ropes on UX.”
“It was a great ‘primer’ on UX. I’m looking forward to the next session.”
“Great class, great format, and have already started recommending it to others.”
