Luke Smith has worked in UX for 15 years in industries that include ad tech, life science, agriculture and other interesting domains. He currently works as an analyst for a UX agency based in eastern Iowa, helping design the embedded vehicle displays of the future. Luke grew up drawing pictures instead of doing his homework but eventually studied biology at the University of Iowa, and still approaches design as both art and science. Beyond work, he is interested in like film, disc golf and MMA, but his passion is for his family, which includes his wife, their 3 year-old maniac son, and 2 infinitely patient dogs.
