Ask the UXperts: Accessibility—The Journey & the Destination, with Derek Featherstone

Posted on March 24, 2015 by Sarah Hawk in Announcements, Ask The UXperts, Inspiration, Opinion, Tips - No Comments
Derek Featherstone

Earlier this year I had the pleasure of meeting Derek Featherstone in person, after he gave an inspiring speech at Webstock. It is only partly due to this fact that I can’t wait until our next Ask the UXperts session, at which Derek will take the hot seat.

The main reason is simply because he’s a nice guy that knows his stuff.

As the Webstock writers so succinctly put it “Derek Featherstone is an internationally recognised speaker and entrepreneur. An authority on accessibility and interaction design, he is the founder of Simply Accessible, a user experience design agency based in Ottawa, Ontario.”

Ask the UXperts sessions run for approximately an hour and best of all, they don’t cost a cent. They are text based so there is no audio or video, but a full transcript will be posted up on here in the days following the session.
