Get Your UX Questions Answered

Two people chatting on a webinar
Summary:

We like conversations, which is why we’re excited about running the very first UX Mastery Q&A session: a unique opportunity for you to discuss all things user experience with Luke and Matt, the founders of UX Mastery. But spots are limited, so get in quick!

While we’re delighted that our readership continues to grow, we have a small confession to make … sometimes (just sometimes) we feel a little disconnected from our readers. Blog posts like this one are largely one-way.

We prefer conversations.

Which is why we’re excited about running the very first UX Mastery Q&A session: a unique opportunity for you to discuss all things user experience with Luke and Matt, the founders of UX Mastery.

We do have a rough agenda, but we’d really love you guys to drive this session. What are the biggest challenges you face as a working (or aspiring) UX Designer? What are the burning questions you’d like answered?

For example, we receive a lot of questions by email along the lines of:

  • How do I break into the User Experience field?
  • Do I have to be able to draw to be a successful UX Designer?
  • How much code should a UX Designer be able to write?
  • How should I prepare to apply for a job as a UX Designer?

In addition to tackling these topics, we’ll also do our best to answer specific questions that you may have about usability, web design, mobile app design, user research, or anything else that comes under the UX umbrella.

Here are the details:

While we’ve chosen a time that spans daylight hours in a number of timezones, we know it won’t suit everyone (i.e. our friends in Europe). We hope to repeat this exercise at a later date—and a different time of day.

The tools we’re using allows for 100 attendees, and at the time of writing, there are only 30 spots remaining (we gave our email newsletter subscribers first notice—there’s an incentive to subscribe if you haven’t already!) So if you’d like to participate, register now to avoid missing out.

    • Hi!

I and my office mate were going to participate at 5:00 PM (PST- Portland, Oregon).

Don’t know why or how your event could be over already, if it was scheduled for 5:00-6:00PM (PST)?

Is there any way that we could get a video of the Q&A?

      So sorry we missed out!

      • Hi Ted

The time is right, but maybe you confused the days? (10am Tuesday here in Melbourne is 5pm Monday in Portland).

We’re working on pulling together a summary (possibly just the audio) for attendees to access.

We hope to run more Q&As, so hopefully you can join us in one of the future sessions.

        Matt

  • Hi Matthew, when you have another UX Mastery Q&A session? I just saw the post today and I’m really interested about it.
